Taylor + Gavin: Spring has Sprung

The moment we met Taylor and Gavin for their tour we knew their wedding was going to be a stunner.  Taylor and Gavin had the sweetest story of being college sweethearts and their wedding was going to be nothing short of spectacular.  

Two things we were absolutely obsessed with – Taylor’s dress and the soft and whimsical idea she had for the florals. 

First things first – the dress…talk about drop dead gorgeous!  I remember when Taylor told me she had found the dress and she asked if I wanted to see a picture of it – OF COURSE I did!  The dress had a modern square neckline, and was an absolute compliment to her figure and the style dress she wanted.  Then she told me about the detachable train.  It was love.  She had a two part look for her dress that included a long flowing train that was all things whimsical.  This was such a great blend of modern and classic styles.  Her long train flowing effortlessly in the wind as she walked down the aisle was perfect for the ceremony.  Once the nuptials were completed and the wedding bells had rung, she removed the skirt for the reception, which allowed her to move more freely for the dancing portion.  These two part looks are so stunning and we are here for it!!! 

Now for the whimsical.  The main colors were varying shades of white.  Taylor had this vision of baby’s breath lining the aisle and that being the main focus of the wedding reception as well.  It was absolutely stunning!  The reception perfectly complemented the ceremony space with baby’s breath and white candles accenting the tables creating a clean and crisp look.  The space felt light, airy, and completely refreshing!
